As a Team Leader at VIM, you will manage a team of 10-20 logistics employees. You are responsible for the entire logistics process within your department. Each day you start with a kick-off meeting with your team members, during which you divide the tasks and monitor key performance indicators.
You oversee the progress of the logistics process and use the warehouse management system to effectively manage operations. In addition, you ensure that procedures, safety guidelines, and technical tools are correctly applied. We work in a multi-customer warehouse, which means we carry out daily operations for multiple (international) clients at the same time. As a result, the work is varied and requires strong organizational skills.
As a Team Leader, you are visibly present on the work floor. You coach and guide your team and ensure a pleasant and safe working environment where everyone can bring out the best in themselves You maintain order, cleanliness, and safety on the work floor and in the canteen. At VIM, we work according to the Japanese 5S method, which creates structure, clarity, and calm in the workplace.
