Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for collecting and preparing the goods for shipment of our customers in the fashion, sports and lifestyle industry. You take care of the proper labelling and packaging. You sometimes add an extra label or pack the products. You assist during regular inventory checks. In other words: you make sure the correct products are sent in the correct way to the correct customer.
Logistic processes require order and neatness. At VIM we work according to the Japanese 5S method, creating structure, overview and peace in the workplace. 5S is the Dutch acronym for separating (‘scheiden’), conforming (‘schikken’), cleaning (‘schoonmaken’), standardising (‘standaardiseren’) and preserving (‘in stand houden’).
